“Diyar United Company” Supports “The Proteges” Program in its 9th Season

As part of the preparations made for the 9th generation of “The Proteges” program, an agreement is signed between the Proteges project owners and Diyar United Company, a leading provider of IT services and solutions, to support the 9th season of the program in the framework of the strategy set by Diyar United to aid and sponsor youth supporting programs by means of providing necessary help and facilities as well as giving all participants the chance to learn about this comprehensive program which combines many experiences and expertise aimed at developing self-awareness in addition to enhancing social, scientific and life skills under the leadership of a group of influential mentors in various fields in Kuwait.

In this regard, Ahmad Maarouf, executive partner of Diyar United says: “We are delighted to start this strategic partnership with the Proteges program which fulfills the aspirations of young people of both genders by equipping them with the skills and abilities that qualify them to build a promising future and to establish a community based on science, knowledge, trust and respect. We hope that our support and technical contribution in this program adds to the abilities of the participants in all technical fields to understand the influence of information technology and its challenges in society. Maaruf also adds: “Our partnership with The Proteges program is part of the company's social responsibility activities to our beloved Kuwait. Our firm commitment and belief in our social responsibility in our country has been crowned by earning ISO 26000 certification from the International Standards Organization.”

On her part, the chief operating officer of The Proteges Program, Nof Al-Freih, thanked his Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, and his Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad at the beginning, for their continuous support and encouragement and their strong belief in the organization and its objectives.

Al-Freih also states: “We are pleased with the cooperation and support provided by Diyar United Company for The Proteges Program for Youth Development. This attention and encouragement given to the students is one of the most important factors leading to the program's success, continuity and communication to the largest number of young people. The thing which has always helped, and still is helping, The Proteges program since its establishment 9 years ago to aid 8 generations of a total of 200 young men and women to graduate after achieving remarkable excellence in their fields.” She adds: “The Proteges program will be launched on June 30, and will last for 6 weeks between Kuwait and Wales, UK. We encourage all young people whose age is between 16 and 24 years to participate in the program.”
